Football fans were left fuming on Saturday afternoon when referee Lee Probert booked Leicester City star Demarai Gray following his emotional winning goal against Cardiff City.
The winger netted the only strike of the Premier League game and upon scoring removed his shirt to unveil a tribute to owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha who tragically died a week ago in a helicopter crash outside their King Power stadium.
Probert's decision to stick to the letter of the law at such a poignant moment left football fans annoyed and frustrated with many believing Gray should have been let off his indiscretion.
Any player who removes their shirt to celebrate a goal is automatically cautioned by the man officiating the game.
