Ousmane Dembele transfer: Arsenal fans demand club sign Barcelona star after sensational goal against Tottenham

The Barcelona forward dribbled half the length of the pitch to score and at one point put a huge dent in Spurs' Champions League hopes, much to the delight of supporters on Twitter

Arsenal target Ousmane Dembele endeared himself to Gunners fans by scoring a sensational solo goal against Tottenham.

Dembele’s seventh minute opener for Barcelona at the Nou Camp sent supporters on Twitter wild as at one stage it looked like it might send their north London rivals crashing out of the Champions League at the group stage.

The Frenchman picked up the ball on the half-way line, beat Kyle Walker-Peters twice, before cutting inside and slotting the ball past Hugo Lloris.

In Spain, Spurs needed to match the result of Inter, who were hosting PSV and there was relief in the Camp Nou at full-time with both games finishing 1-1.

Arsenal fans, though, will have still been impressed by Dembele, calling the game his ‘Gunners audition’.
