According to , failure to beat 16th-placed SPAL at home on Saturday will see the World Cup winning midfielder lose his job.
Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is on the shortlist to replace the former Italy midfielder, as is ex-England boss Fabio Capello.
Roberto Donadoni, Paulo Sousa and former Swansea City boss Francesco Guidolin are also reportedly being considered as Gattuso's replacement, should he get the sack.
