QPR transfer news: Fans’ favourite Adel Taarabt will NOT be returning to Loftus Road this month
The former Tottenham youngster is on the hunt for a new club in this transfer window - but it won't be QPR

Adel Taarabt will not be rejoining his former side QPR in this transfer window after reports linked the Moroccan with a return to Loftus Road.
Taarabt, now 29, played a starring role in the west London side's promotion to the Premier League back in 2011.
But after falling out with former Rs boss Harry Redknapp he made an acrimonious exit from the club four years ago - but despite that remains a popular figure among many supporters.
However, contrary to speculation a fairytale reunion is not on the cards, with club officials revealing to talkSPORT that there is no truth in the speculation.
Taarabt has been at Benfica for three years, but is currently training with the reserves and is free to leave the club this month.
talkSPORT understands that the former Tottenham youngster would be keen on a move back to England should the opportunity arise, with his representatives working hard to get him a new club this month.
Steve McClaren's side are set for a quiet transfer window, with the club placed under a transfer embargo for breaking Financial Fair Play rules.
However, they are still allowed to add to their squad this month - but only on a one in, one out basis.
There are several financial restrictions they would have to adhere to in order to make a new signing.
Most notably, any new arrival would need to arrive on a free transfer.
The club's main priority in January is to further reduce the wage bill by offloading fringe squad players.
QPR's JANUARY TRANSFER EMBARGO EXPLAINED
- The rules specify that the Rs will be able to bring in a new senior signing IF they're replacing an outgoing player.
- However, any new arrival would need to arrive on a free transfer.
- They could also not be paid more than £600,000 per year (£11,500 per week), or a salary of more than 75% of the player which he's replacing.
- The west London side are also prohibited from paying any fees to agents or other intermediaries as part of any deal.
Striker Idrissa Sylla is closing in on a return to his former side Zulte Waregem.
The club will also be reviewing several players contracts this month - and thus assessing the best strategy to move forward in.
First-team trio Jake Bidwell, Joel Lynch and Pawel Wzsolek are all out of contract at the end of the season.
There are option year clauses built into all three players' contracts, though the club are yet to decide whether to activate these or not.
