Punters are backing the Brazilian ace, who cost Barcelona £142million, to move to Old Trafford in a shock deal

Odds are being cut on former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho making a shock transfer to Manchester United.

The Brazilian has spent a year with Barcelona after a £142million move from Anfield but so far failed to truly succeed at the Camp Nou.

According to , the Red Devils, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Man City have all been alerted to Coutinho's availability with the Old Trafford side reportedly stealing a march on their rivals by making contacting about a deal.

And this has seen punters pile on with 85% of all bets placed on where Coutinho will end up being put on Manchester United, leading to Bookmakers cutting odds of it happening from 10/1 into 13/2 in the last 24 hours.

Coutinho hasn't started a LaLiga game since early December and has made four substitute appearances since then, giving him a combined total of 66 league minutes on the pitch.

“If Coutinho did make the switch, he would follow in the footsteps of Michael Owen and Paul Ince to appear on both sides of the divide.

“With the multitude of bets placed on the move, this is definitely one to watch out for throughout the transfer window.”
