Manchester United manager news: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done an ‘unbelievable job’ and should get permanent role, says former teammate David May
The Norwegian has made a great start at the Red Devils, winning his first five matches in charge

David May believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be given the full-time job at Manchester United.
The 45-year-old has made a flying start to life as caretaker manager of the Red Devils by winning his first five games.
Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is understood to still be the club's first choice, but Solskjaer has convinced former United defender David May with his performances already.
“Personally I’d love to see Ole get the job,” May said, , “I’ve known him for twenty years and I know that he loves the club so much. He also knows what the club is all about.
“Ole has done an unbelievable job, he really has. He’s transformed somewhere that was all doom and gloom into a dressing room that you can see is now enjoying their football.”
Solskjaer is still contracted to Molde but has 'been allowed' to take interim charge of United until the end of the season.
The two clubs have reportedly worked out a fee for the former United striker if he gets the job permanently.
