Tottenham defender Danny Rose urges Premier League to help Spurs and Liverpool win Champions League
Tottenham's semi-final opponents Ajax have had numerous Eredivisie matches rescheduled to aid their European adventure

The Premier League should be doing more to help out English teams in the Champions League, Danny Rose has said ahead of Tottenham's semi-final first leg clash with Ajax.
Spurs host the Dutch outfit next Tuesday, just three days after facing off against West Ham in a Premier League London derby.
Their semi-final opponents, on the other hand, have already played their last game before travelling to north London - a 4-2 defeat of Vitesse - with the Eredivisie moving a number of Ajax's fixtures to help them out with their European adventure.
Liverpool's last-four opponents Barcelona have not been gifted the same aid by LaLiga - they have league matches scheduled for both Saturdays before their semi-final fixtures - with the Reds actually having the advantage as they play this Friday before travelling to Spain for next Wednesday's first leg.
This gives them an extra day's rest compared to the Camp Nou club.

But this scheduling is still not enough, Rose insists, and the Tottenham defender wants the Premier League to do more to aid the teams representing them in Europe.
"It would be nice," Rose said. "I couldn't believe it when I heard that's what the Dutch were doing.
"Of course when you get to this stage of the season, a little bit of fatigue can start to kick in and every little helps.
"It would be nice if the people in England took a similar stance and helped us out because ultimately it's not Tottenham against Ajax.

"And every little could help us along the way."
Tottenham's battle for the Champions League is running side-by-side with their fight to secure a top four finish in the Premier League.
Tuesday's last-gasp defeat of Brighton tightened Spurs' hold on third place, and they now sit three points clear of Chelsea in fourth with just three games to play.
