Sunderland line up Lazio striker as 11th summer signing

Sunderland are keen on Lazio striker Sergio Floccari.

Paolo Di Canio has already signed ten players this summer but is in the market for another forward and Lazio are willing to cash in on the 31-year-old.

Floccari has fallen out of favour with the Serie A side and has just one year left on his contract.

Di Canio believes he can land the Italian on the cheap and the player's agent Claudio Vigorelli is prepared to broker a deal.
