It will be difficult for Gerrard to persuade Suarez to stay, says Beecroft

talkSPORT’s Merseyside correspondent, Graham Beecroft, gives us his thoughts on Luis Suarez’s future at Liverpool.

Team-mate Steven Gerrard has claimed he will do all he can to get the striker to remain at Anfield.

But Beecroft believes it will be hard to change Suarez’s mind as he is clearly set on leaving Liverpool for a club in the Champions League.

And he adds that Brendan Rodgers must sign two or three top players to bolster their squad or risk failing to finish in the top four again.
