And they are looking to claim their second Europa League title, having emerged triumphant under Rafel Benitez in 2013.

Furthermore, although Chelsea are frontrunners for a top four spot in the Premier League, winning the competition will ensure the Blues qualify for Europe's most elite tournament for next season.

Sarri's side is not without its injury problems, however, Callum Hudson-Odoi has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a ruptured Achilles, while Antonio Rudiger's season is over also after he injured his knee in the Man United clash at Old Trafford on the weekend.

Andreas Christensen is set to slot in for the German alongside David Luiz - the Dane has already started all 12 previous matches for the Blues in the competition.

Ahead of the game, Sarri insisted Chelsea must not take Frankfurt for granted in the match.

He said: "I respect Frankfurt. They have played against big teams and are a dynamic side with great intensity, and physically they have the same characteristics as [quarter-final opponents] Slavia Praha, but the quality is better, especially in attack. It will be difficult to get to the final."

But how could they line-up? Have a look at our predicted team below.
