Lozano's superb form has continued this season, with the 23-year-old netting 17 goals and adding 7 assists in 30 Eredivisie matches.

Inevitably, his fine displays in the Netherlands have caught the eye of a host of top clubs from around Europe.

Man United have been frontrunners for his signature, but reports in Italy claim a deal with Serie A side Napoli is all but done.

report a meeting has taken place between the player's agent, Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti and the club's owner Aurelio de Laurentiis.

A fee of around £34m is believed to have been agreed between the parties and Lozano is set sign a five-year deal with the Naples club.

And the next time Lozano plays he may well be wearing the famous blue shirt as his season came to a premature end due to injury last month.

He injured his knee in PSV's clash against Willem II but fortunately avoided ligament damage.

Napoli are set to finish as runners up to Juventus for the second consecutive season, with the Old Lady sealing their eighth straight Serie A triumph last month.
