Chelsea transfer gossip – the latest on Rooney, Eto’o and more

Chelsea have had quite a fruitful summer in the transfer market. Not only did they manage to snag one of the Bundesliga's most expansive attackers in the shape of Bayer Leverkusen's Andre Schurrle, they also added sought-after Dutch midfielder Marco van Ginkel and veteran goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer to their ranks. However, the real signing of the summer was that of Jose Mourinho, whose return to Stamford Bridge was celebrated as the Portuguese insisted he was no longer the 'Special One', but instead the 'Happy One'.
