Redknapp confirms QPR have agreed fee for Parker

Queens Park Rangers have agreed a fee with Tottenham for Scott Parker, Harry Redknapp has confirmed.

Redknapp managed the midfielder when in charge of Spurs and is keen for him to lead QPR's Championship promotion challenge.

The Hoops are now waiting on the 32-year-old to decide whether he wants to drop down a division.

Fulham are also reported to be keen on the England international but the Premier League club have yet to firm up their interest, and Redknapp is hopeful of securing a deal.

"We've made a good offer to Scott. It's up to him to make his mind up now if he wants to come here,' he said.

"The chairman has agreed a deal with Tottenham. It's up to Scotty now. Hopefully Scotty will feel the same and come here. We feel this is a club progressing and we'd love him to be part of it here."
