Tottenham vs Liverpool: Xherdan Shaqiri says Reds ‘deserve’ to win Champions League final
The Swiss international says he wants to help deliver the trophy for Jurgen Klopp - whose Borussia Dortmund side he beat with Bayern Munich in 2013

Xherdan Shaqiri believes Liverpool deserve to be crowned European champions on Saturday night when they meet Tottenham in the Champions League final.
The Reds have performed at an exceptional level throughout the season – but could end the campaign without a trophy if they lose to Spurs in the Madrid showdown.
They amassed a staggering 97 points in the Premier League, only to be beaten to the title by Manchester City.
And after the stunning comeback against Barcelona in the semi-final, Shaqiri says it would be a special triumph if the Reds were victorious.
“I think we had a great season and there is one big final ahead of us," he told talkSPORT.
"We’ll try everything to win this title because the club deserves it, the fans deserve it and the players deserve it. It’ll be a really special thing if we win it.
“Tottenham is a top team. They showed the world how good they are.
“It’ll be a difficult game, but we’re confident. It’s only 90 minutes and anything can happen.
