Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb out for six weeks after undergoing knee surgery

Tottenham midfielder Nabil Bentaleb has been ruled out for at least six weeks after undergoing surgery on his left knee.
The 21-year-old was injured in action for Spurs’ Under-21s on Friday, as they were beaten 3-0 by Leicester’s youngsters.
The Algerian international underwent surgery to correct the problem, but he is expected to return to training before the end of the season.
"The expected recovery and rehabilitation is likely to see him return to training in approximately six weeks," the club revealed on Twitter.
Spurs remain hopeful Bentaleb could be available in time to face either Southampton or Newcastle, their last two opponents of the season.
The academy graduate has only made two Premier League starts this season, both of which came in August, after an ankle injury which ruled him out for three months in the autumn.
