Premier League unveil new Nike Merlin ball for 2019/20 season
The ball celebrates the 20th anniversary of Nike's partnership with the Premier League
The Premier League and Nike have unveiled the ball which will be used throughout the 2019/20 English top flight season.
Celebrating the 20th anniversary of sportswear giant Nike's partnership with the Premier League, the 'Merlin' ball is the first to be produced solely for the division.
"The distinctive modular graphic, adorned with vibrant colours, is inspired by the dynamism of the league and its vibrant fan culture," a statement reads.
An updated version of the 'Merlin' ball used in 2018/19 by the Premier League, LaLiga and Serie A, the new edition is 'designed to give players an extra edge'.

It features a larger 'sweet spot' as the ball is made of just four panels, while Nike Aerowtrack grooves give the ball a more consistent flight path.
The updated Urban Grip technology also ensures increased traction on any surface and in any weather.
Kieran Ronan, Nike's GM of Global Equipment, said: "We wanted to design a ball that specifically illustrated the traits of Premier League football.
"A ball that felt hyper-technical and precise in nature, but also inspired by this English culture of living and breathing Premier League football."
The 2019/20 Premier League Nike Merlin football will be available to buy on from July 4.
