Toulouse join Fulham in eyeing PSG midfielder

Toulouse are the latest club to join Fulham in the race to land Paris St-Germain midfielder Clement Chantome.

The 25-year-old has spent his entire senior career at the capital club since coming through the ranks in 2006, but his role has diminished over the last two seasons.

Capped once by France's senior side, Chantome has failed to appear in either of PSG's opening two Ligue 1 fixtures this season and he is keen to secure first-team football.

Fulham have been interested in the midfielder, as have Lyon, but Toulouse are now willing to offer him an escape route.

Toulouse are preparing an initial loan deal and are also monitoring his PSG team-mate Mathieu Bodmer.
