Manchester United transfer news: Red Devils ‘only club’ to launch concrete bid for Matthijs de Ligt – reports
Reports last week suggested the 19-year-old Ajax captain had decided to move to Juventus to team up with Maurizio Sarri

Manchester United are the only club to submit an offer to Ajax for their captain, Matthijs de Ligt, according to reports.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move for the teenager this transfer window amid Ole Gunnar Solskjaer''s plans to sign a central defender.
However, since then, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have emerged as frontrunners for his signature, with reports last week suggesting he had opted to join Maurizio Sarri's side.
Should United's pursuit of the Ajax star fail, it is understood they will reignite their interest in Leicester's Harry Maguire once they confirm the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

BBC Sport reporter David Orstein claim United are the only club who De Ligt has a concrete offer from, but he has no intention of moving to Old Trafford.
"Recently I was told that the only offer that was on [Matthijs] De Ligt's table, of course more will materialise and a lot of it's verbal, but the only offer on his plate was from #mufc,” he said.
“It was his choice that he didn't want to go there."
De Ligt is still said to be favouring a move to Juventus, who have won the Serie A title for the last eight seasons running.
But Dutch football journalist Hugo Borst believes a move to Juve would be the wrong choice.
"If you can choose anywhere in the world you choose the Premier League, Barca or Real Madrid,” Borst told Sport.
“England and Spain have the two strongest leagues in the world.
“In those countries, you can see the best players and watch them improve.
"Juve? Ha! That club is guaranteed to win the league and they couldn't lift the Champions League even with Cristiano [Ronaldo]. Why would de Ligt want to go to Italy?
"Raiola appears to be demanding a yearly salary of €14m. In what moment did de Ligt become so money hungry?"
