Hughton hints at more Norwich signings

Chris Hughton admits Norwich could still make further signings before the close of the transfer window.

The Canaries have brought in strikers Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Gary Hooper during the close season, and completed a loan deal for Johan Elmander earlier this week.

But Hughton says he could be tempted to make a further foray into the transfer market in the next ten days.

He told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast: “There’s a good feeling at the club. We’ve brought in the players we wanted and we’ll keep looking right up until the window closes.

“I’m pleased with the squad I’ve got but we have to look at every opportunity and if there’s the right one before the window closes we’ll endeavour to do something.

“We’re building towards something and that included trying to strengthen the squad, and we’ve been able to do that.”
