April Fools’ Day round-up: Arsenal’s sunroof, Wayne Rooney’s new career, Fabian Delph’s anger and more

It’s April 1 meaning football clubs and PR companies are rolling out their best pranks of the year to fool fans and media alike.

However, things like Arsene Wenger’s refusal to quit Arsenal and Aston Villa’s league form are not among this year’s jokes - those things are very real.

There are others that are not so obvious, such as Leicester City’s tweet that the club’s chairman will be providing every fan with a free beer and doughnut - which would cause some outrage should Foxes fans turn up at the King Power on Sunday and receive nothing.
