Manchester City vs Tottenham: Trevor Sinclair expects Spurs to struggle without ‘most important player’ Heung-min Son

Trevor Sinclair believes the absence of Tottenham star Heung-min Son could decide the huge Premier League clash between Manchester City and Spurs.
Saturday is GameDay on talkSPORT and the two heavyweights go head-to-head at the Etihad in our third instalment of live football tomorrow.
Spurs will have to make-do without Son, who is completing a two-match ban for a red card received at the end of last season.
And Sinclair gives Tottenham little chance against his former side without their ‘most important player’.
“I know a lot has been said about Christian Eriksen," he told marvelbet369.com. “But for me, he’s not the most important player for Tottenham.

“The most important player for Spurs is Heung-min Son – and he’s suspended.
“A lot of people overlook this boy’s talent. He’s selfless, he’s a team player, he’s incredibly quick, he scores goals, gets assists.
“I just think he’s such an important player for them. He’s adaptable, he can play up top when Harry Kane’s not there.
“With the energy and quality he brings to the team, that’s the reason why I think Manchester City will be too strong for this Tottenham side.”
The Premier League champions began their title defence in style with a 5-0 thrashing of West Ham at the London Stadium.
Spurs collected all three points from their opening game in less emphatic fashion, coming from behind with two late goals to beat Aston Villa 3-1.

And Sinclair predicts Tottenham could be on the wrong end of that scoreline on Saturday.
“When you’ve got a Harry Kane in the side, you’ve always got goals,” he added.
“That’s probably Manchester City’s weakest area, when they have to defend in central areas. Laporte is class, but you can get at Otamendi and Stones.
“But I just think Manchester City are almost unstoppable going forward, so I’ve got them down for a 3-1 win.”
