Bayer Leverkusen are considering a move for West Ham target Hugo Almeida.

talkSPORT told you earlier this summer that Portugal international Almeida is on Sam Allardyce's shortlist as he bids to find back-up options for Andy Carroll, who is still sidelined.

But now Leverkusen are keen on the 29-year-old, who has scored 25 league goals for Besiktas since moving from Werder Bremen in 2011.
