Transfer report: Manchester City in battle with Roma and Bayern Munich to land French starlet

Roma have joined Bayern Munich and Manchester City in the race for Rennes starlet Ousmane Dembele.

The 18-year-old is quickly becoming one of the hottest prospects in European football and has 12 league goals to his name this year.

Both Bayern Munich and City have scouted the forward, while Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested.

However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have now joined the hunt for Dembele's signature this summer.

The Italian club watched the Frenchman last month and scouts have returned with rave reviews.

Rennes are aware that they will struggle to keep hold of their prized asset and are ready to sell if a mega offer comes in.
