Chelsea duo Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James called up to England U21 squad

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James have both been called up to the England U21 squad for the upcoming matches against Slovenia and Austria.
The Chelsea pair have both impressed since returning from their respective injuries and scored in the Blues' 7-1 victory over Grimsby in the Carabao Cup last week.
Tottenham goalkeeper Brandon Austin earns a first call-up, while Bournemouth’s Lloyd Kelly also returns, but the majority of the side remains the same from the one that defeated Turkey and Kosovo last month.
Todd Cantwell is also named for the second time in Aidy Boothroyd’s side after impressing with Norwich.

“We have a few players back from injury in Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James and Lloyd Kelly and we’re looking forward to getting back together again and we are building a strong core of players early on in the campaign,” said Boothroyd after the announcement.
“The squad also has more playing minutes at club level than they might normally do at this stage of the season, which is great for us ahead of these matches.”
England travel to Maribor on October 11 to face Slovenia, before hosting Austria at Stadium MK four days later.
