Atletico Madrid see Juan Cuadrado approach rejected by Antonio Conte and Chelsea

Atletico Madrid have been told to forget about signing Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado.

The Colombian has been on loan at Juventus this season and has impressed for the Italian champions.

Originally it had been the plan for the 27-year-old to make his loan move permanent, but incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants him at Stamford Bridge.

That, according to Tuttosport, has also led to Atletico Madrid having an approach for Cuadrado rejected. 

The Spanish side scouted the Colombia international in January and were keen to snap him up this summer.

But Chelsea have told them to forget about it after Conte informed the club's board he has big plans for Cuadrado next season.
