Manchester United transfer news: Zinedine Zidane to offer Gareth Bale and £85m to lure Paul Pogba away from Old Trafford
Zinedine Zidane will launch an offensive to sign Paul Pogba once again from Manchester United once the transfer window opens, according to reports.
The Real Madrid boss is reportedly willing to offer £85million and Gareth Bale in order to finally bring the France midfielder to the Bernabeu.
Since being reappointed as Los Blancos boss, Zidane has been desperate to get rid of the Wales international and strengthen his midfield.
He targeted Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen as well as Pogba, but was unable to meet Man United’s £180m transfer valuation after spending £150m on Eden Hazard.
According to , the Champions League-winning manager will offer cash plus Bale in order to now seal the deal on a move for Pogba, who is currently recovering from an ankle injury.
He spent the last week in Dubai in an attempt to boost his fitness and get fit for the Europa League clash in Belgrade, however it proved unsuccessful.

During his trip to the UAE, the 26-year-old was spotted meeting with Zidane. To make matters worse, Pogba has done little to dispel rumours of an Old Trafford exit by singing Zidane’s praises and continually admitting how delighted he would be to play for the LaLiga giants.
Bale nearly left the Spanish capital in the summer, by president Florentino Perez blocked a lucrative move to China.
However, it now appears Perez is more on board with the idea of a swap, if they can convince Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and United. Pogba's current contract with the club runs until 2021.
