Rafa Benitez would be PERFECT appointment if West Ham sacked Manuel Pellegrini, says Simon Jordan
Simon Jordan is no fan of Rafael Benitez, but admits he would be a great fit as the next West Ham manager.
Current Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini is feeling the heat in the London Stadium hotseat and rumours claim he could lose his job in his side’s dreadful form continues.
The east Londoners started the season well but have plummeted down the table after a run of six games without a win - seven if you include their humiliating 4-0 defeat to League One Oxford United in the Carabao Cup.

West Ham currently sit 16th in the Premier League table, just five points above the bottom three.
They next host London derby rivals Tottenham on Saturday – with LIVE commentary on talkSPORT – in what is being described as a 'make-or-break' game for Pellegrini.
If the experienced Chilean is axed, the Hammers will reportedly turn to Benitez to save their season.
And, although he was not happy about the manner of his departure from Newcastle United earlier this year, Jordan admits he would be a perfect match to bring success back to the London Stadium.
However, with the ex-Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid boss currently earning £12million in the Chinese Super League, they will have to break the bank to land him.
Speaking to talkSPORT host Jim White, the former Crystal Palace owner said: “Whatever I think of David Gold and David Sullivan, I don’t think anyone can doubt that these two guys have stepped up and put some money behind their side.

“Pellegrini has had a reasonably good shake, but West Ham’s current showing is just not good enough.
“Benitez, despite my vitriol about the manner in which he left Newcastle, is a very, very good Premier League manager.
“And I tell you, I could see him at West Ham if they could match or get anywhere near the financial gain he is getting in China.”
