Tottenham’s next manager: Jose Mourinho favourite, while Brendan Rodgers and Steven Gerrard outsiders

Jose Mourinho has been installed as the early favourite to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
Spurs sprung a surprise on Tuesday evening by announcing the Argentine's exit after nearly five-and-a-half years in charge.
Mourinho, who has been out of work since losing his job at Manchester United at the end of 2018, is known to be keen to get back in the dugout.
talkSPORT understands he has already been sounded out about the possibility of taking on the Spurs role.
Julian Nagelsmann, Carlo Ancelotti and Rafa Benitez are also in the running to succeed Pochettino, according to the bookies.
Brendan Rodgers, Steven Gerrard, Zinedine Zidane and Gareth Southgate are among the outsiders.
Here are the odds on Tottenham's next boss, as of Tuesday night (supplied by ):
Jose Mourinho 1/2
Julian Nagelsmann 4/1
Carlo Ancelotti 8/1
Rafa Benitez 8/1
Eddie Howe 10/1

Brendan Rodgers 16/1
Erik Ten Hag 16/1

Meanwhile, Pochettino is now a front runner to take over at Bayern Munich after his departure from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadum.
The club sacked Robert Kovac earlier in the month and are yet to bring in a replacement.
There are fairly short odds on Pochettino replacing Unai Emery at Arsenal, despite the unlikelihood of that happening.
A return to Spain has also been mooted, with Real Madrid a big attraction for Pochettino.
Mauricio Pochettino next job odds:
Bayern Munich 4/5
Real Madrid 7/4
Manchester Utd 4/1
Argentina 8/1
Juventus 10/1
Arsenal 12/1
Barcelona 16/1
