Manchester United ace Andreas Pereira flaunts 24k gold and white iPhone 11 Pro with ‘tiki-taka legend’ inscribed on the back

Manchester United star Andreas Pereira has ‘tiki-taka legend’ inscribed on the back of his £5,000 24k gold and white iPhone 11 Pro.

Despite completing just 77.5 per cent of his Premier League passes this season, the 24-year-old has the pass-master slogan on his expensive handset and decided to show it off to his 2.3million Instagram followers.

Pereira has never really managed to get his United career up and running, despite loan spells at Granada and Valencia, and the 'tiki-taka legend' message is unlikely to appease his critics.

Tiki-taka, the slick style of football synonymous with Barcelona, is hardly the phrase which first comes to mind when one thinks of United’s struggling midfielder.

A self-proclaimed no.10, Pereira has been forced to play much deeper under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at times this season owing to numerous injuries to various United players.

According to a report in the , when he got the chance to play in a more advanced role against Liverpool last month, he was left frustrated with three of his team-mates.

After extensively watching the footage back from the game, the Brazil international was unhappy with a cross put in by Aaron Wan-Bissaka which had too much pace on for him to properly connect with.

The Belgium-born midfielder was also disappointed when Anthony Martial spurned the chance to equalise at Anfield after he played him through, only to see the France international smash a chance over the bar.

And Pereira was similarly angry at Daniel James for reportedly not lifting has head up during the defeat to the runaway Premier League leaders.

Let’s hope he made the most of his brand new phone by watching the footage on there at least.
