Jurgen Klopp, Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the top 20 best paid managers in world football
It might just look like 22 people kicking a ball around some grass to some but those who bring order to the chaos are the managers.
Because of these coaches, with superb tactics and excellent man-management skills, a group of talented individuals can become a finely-tuned team capable of winning trophies.
Just look at Leicester City in 2015/16 - as singular players they weren't world-beaters. Brought together in the right environment, though, and they were Premier League title winners.
Claudio Ranieri deserved the huge credit he got for the success and so do the other managers around the globe, so it's no surprise some of them command huge wages in this day and age.
And, as well as big salaries, many of them get additional bonuses through sponsorship deals, but who will have earned the most across 2019/20?
France Football did the calculations, taking into account 2018/19 bonuses, gross salary and partnerships with brands, and you can find out who earns the most below.

20. Bruno Genesio (Beijing Guoan) – £7.3m
Just ahead of former Arsenal boss Unai Emery (£6.78m) and ex-Bayern Munich coach Nico Kovac (£7.15m) who have had their pay-offs, is the Frenchman, now out in China.
A former player and then manager at Lyon, he's enjoying life in charge of the likes of Renato Augusto, Cedric Bakambu, and Jonathan Viera.
After a second-place finish last season, he will hope to win them a title when the next campaign starts.
19. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (Manchester United) – £7.6m
After some highs and lows, Solskjaer is now getting the best from his Red Devils side with the arrival of Bruno Fernandes.
As a result, the Glazer Family is getting some bang for their buck given he's one of the lowest paid managers at an elite level club.
18. Thomas Tuchel (PSG) – £7.79m
When you think he has to handle stars like Neymar, Mauro Icardi, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani, it's surprising the PSG boss is so far down on this list.
He's got another season to run on his current deal and you can imagine him asking for more - if he can handle the pressure from the club's owners and their desire to win the Champions League.
17. Brendan Rodgers (Leicester City) – £8.34m
With a new contract in December, the ex-Liverpool boss gets a nice little boost to his pay this season.
And it's not like he doesn't deserve it, either. The Foxes are a young and exciting team and you don't doubt the club will have cards up their sleeves if they lose someone like Ben Chilwell in the summer.
16. Mauricio Pochettino (free agent) – £8.61m
He might not be with Tottenham anymore, but he's still one of the best-paid managers around.
Pochettino got a £5m payout from Spurs and he'd already earned just under that by the time he had been sacked.
He could also get another £4m if he hasn't got a new job by next season - although we'd suggest this is unlikely.
15. Vitor Pereira (Shanghai SIPG) – £9.16m
It might be a slightly surprising name on the list, but it's not hard to see why when you know he's managing in the Chinese Super League.
14. Leonardo Jardim (free agent) – £9.34m
Just like Pochettino, the ex-Monaco man is earning well after his sacking at the end of last year.
It was the second time he'd been dismissed by the club over two seasons, having reprised his role after Thierry Henry's ill-fated time in charge of the Ligue 1 club.
13. Maurizio Sarri (Juventus) – £9.44m
Not all of this is cash from his current job in Turin. The rest is coming from the severance pay he got from losing his job at Chelsea.
12. Manuel Pellegrini (free agent) – £9.62m
As with Pochettino and Jardim, the Chilean is laughing all the way to the bank after his sacking this season.
Not only did he get kicked out of West Ham with his full pay for the campaign, he got a £2m slice of severance pay too. Not bad.
11. Carlo Ancelotti (Everton) – £11m
The legendary Italian was sacked by Napoli in November and then swiftly appointed by the Toffees.
He'll get some healthy cash from the Serie A side due to his dismissal, while Everton are also paying him a pretty penny.
10. Rafael Benitez (Dalian Yifang) – £11.91m
It's no wonder the Spaniard jumped ship from Newcastle along with Salomon Rondon in the summer.
He's getting a decent wedge in China while also remaining a hero to many for the job he did on Tyneside - everyone's a winner!
9. Massimiliano Allegri (free agent) – £12.37m
The Italian is still picking up cheques from Juventus as his contract was set to expire this summer. We hope he's using the money wisely on his sabbatical.
8. Fabio Cannavaro (Guangzhou Evergrande) – £12.83m
One of the finest defenders ever to play the game, the Italian World Cup winner is now developing into a handy coach in China.
The cash he earns domestically is also being aided by performance related bonuses and deals with sportswear manufacturers. Tidy.
7. Ernesto Valverde (free agent) – £17.41m
The latest managerial casualty at Barcelona. He's the fifth man to lose his job since Pep Guardiola left his role at the Camp Nou.
Not only will he be getting his wages for the year, he'll also get some healthy severance pay.
5= Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid) – £21.07m
Not only is the serial-winner getting a hefty sum to manage Luka Modric, Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos, and Raphael Varane, he also gets a decent sum through his partnership with German sportswear giants adidas.
5= José Mourinho (Tottenham) – £21.07m
Often found near the top of these rankings, the ex-Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Manchester United boss gets huge sums of money through sponsorship.
Among his partnerships are Hublot, Paddy Power Games and Top Eleven, while he got some extra money for punditry roles at Sky Sports and Russia Today while unemployed.
4. Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool) – £22m
Like predecessor Brendan Rodgers, Klopp's earning has been boosted by a recent new deal and, like many at the top of these standings, he also gets extra dosh by working with a variety of companies to promote their goods.
3. Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) – £24.74m
Bearing in mind he's one of the best coaches in the world, it's not surprising to see the Spaniard in this position.
At least he's ahead of Klopp for the first time in a while, but the money could stop coming in soon if he doesn't renew his contract at Man City before it ends next summer.
2. Antonio Conte (Inter Milan) – £27.49m
Not only is the Italian getting a great deal with the Serie A giants, Conte's pay this year has had a little boost from elsewhere too.
After a legal batter he finally managed to get severance pay from Chelsea, which saw him collect an additional £9m.
1. Diego Simeone (Atletico Madrid) – £37.10m
Well, what do you expect for a man who is capable for battling Barcelona and Real Madrid on a fraction of the budget?
He's also proven his tactical talents by beating Liverpool in the Champions League this season - we expect Nigel Pearson to get a pay rise in line with this!
Outside of his work on the touchline, he also get some bonus bucks from Range Rover and real estate investments.
