Harry Kane puts Manchester United and Juventus on alert with comments about winning trophies at Tottenham
Harry Kane admitted personal ambition means he could one day leave Tottenham.
The Spurs striker has often had to answer questions about whether he will stay at his boyhood club due to the lack of trophies he has won.
Manchester United are the latest club to be linked with a move for the England captain and their hopes of landing one of Europe's best strikers, have been boosted by a recent interview.
Kane took part in a question and answer session with Jamie Redknapp on and was non-committal on whether he would stay at Tottenham for his whole career.
When asked about his future, Kane said: “I get asked this question a lot, it’s one of them things, I couldn’t say yes, I couldn’t say no.
“I love Spurs, I’ll always love Spurs, but it’s one of them things I’ve always said if I don’t feel like we’re progressing as a team or going in the right direction, I’m not someone to stay there just for the sake of it.
“I’m an ambitious player. I want to become a top top player, so it all depends on what happens as a team and how we progress as a team.
“So, it’s not a definite I’m going to stay there forever but it’s not a no either.”

Kane, who has been on the losing side in both the League Cup and Champions League final with Spurs, is a player Tottenham can ill afford to lose having scored 136 goals in 201 Premier League games.
The 26-year-old is entering his prime years as a player and could be forced to make that decision over whether to stay or leave soon.
In addition to United, both European giants Juventus and Real Madrid are believed to have shown interest in him.
He has shown red hot form in the Champions League by scoring 20 goals in just 24 games.
