St George’s Park could be used to host all remaining Premier League fixtures to ‘get the games done’, says Alan Brazil
Alan Brazil has suggested playing all the remaining Premier League games at St George’s Park to get the 2019/20 season completed.
The coronavirus pandemic has seen all football across Europe suspended and some top flight leagues, like in France and the Netherlands, have ended early.

The Premier League is determined to play the remaining 92 fixtures and will hold a conference call with clubs about its ‘Project Restart’ on Friday.
The indication is that matches will be played behind closed doors and that only certain approved venues will be used.
COVID-19 testing will also form a key part of the strategy in order to play games safely.
talkSPORT Breakfast host Brazil thinks St George’s Park could be an ideal venue to just get the games done.

He said: “Let me get this off my chest. Would this work? What I’ve heard, it might not be brand new. One of the rumours I’ve heard flying around.
“They want to get the games played, yes we know that, but how do they do it? What about St George’s Park?
“All the games are played there, the teams move up and around St George’s Park, they are tested before the games. The TV cameras are there and there are no supporters there at all and they get the games done and we can see it live on tele.
“We are talking about June and July and get the season finished. Does that work if they are all around St George’s Park, they play the games there? We see what happens. We get points on the board and we have winners, we have losers.”

St George's Park is the FA's national football centre based in Burton upon Trent and was officially opened in October 2012.
The facility, which is home to the England men's and women's teams, has 13 outdoor pitches, including one with a replica of the Wembley turf, and an indoor 3G pitch.
It is set across 330-acres and also has a 228-room hotel on site as well.
