Chelsea transfer news: Blues ready to take big loss on defender Baba Rahman as Fenerbahce eye summer deal

Fenerbahce are eyeing up a swoop for Chelsea left-back Baba Rahman.

The Ghanaian only joined the Blues from Ausburg for an initial £14m last summer, but suffered a difficult start to life in London under former boss Jose Mourinho, who handed him just three league starts before he was sacked in December.

Rahman has featured more prominently under interim manager Guus Hiddink but still remains second choice behind Cesar Azpilicueta.

According to Fanatik, Rahman is already seeking a way out of Stamford Bridge before new boss Antonio Conte takes charge in July and is understood to be leaning towards a switch to Istanbul.

Chelsea are willing to let the 21-year-old leave if they receive an offer in the region of £7m from the Turkish giants.
