Antonio Rudiger ‘sending messages’ to Timo Werner to get him to snub Manchester United and Liverpool and join Chelsea

Antonio Rudiger has reportedly told his Germany teammate Timo Werner to snub a move to Liverpool and Manchester United and move to Chelsea instead.
The RB Leipzig striker has been heavily linked with a £52million summer transfer to the Reds this summer, with Jurgen Klopp believed to be a big admirer of his compatriot.
However, recent reports have stated that Anfield chiefs have pulled out a deal for the striker as they do not want to stump up his release amid the financial impact of coronavirus - and Chelsea and United are ready to capitalise.
Werner is having his best season to date and has continued his exceptional run since the Bundesliga restarted, hitting a hat-trick against Mainz last weekend to bring his tally to 24 goals in 28 league matches this campaign.
According to Rudiger has been messaging the 24-year-old in an attempt to lure him to Stamford Bridge.
Despite being financially hit by the coronavirus, it is believed the Blues are willing to spend when the transfer window opens.
The west London club did not buy any players last summer due to their transfer ban and Frank Lampard is keen to bolster his squad ahead of next season.

Reds boss Klopp is said to be very interested in Werner but the club are only willing to spend £30m to sign him in light of the pandemic.
And talkSPORT host Tony Cascarino, despite admitting Liverpool would suit his style the most, believes he would struggle to break into Klopp’s starting XI.
He said: “If he were to leave RB Leipzig it would need to be for a club similar to the style of Nagelsmann’s team. In the Premier League, that’s Liverpool.
“They are the team who get three or four players into advanced attacking positions in every move. But I can’t see him forcing his way into the starting line-up ahead of [Mohamed] Salah, Sadio Mané or Roberto Firmino.”
