But it is now set to burst back into life as the league looks to get its games played out in full before the end of July.

The EFL has confirmed a restart date of 20 June and the remaining fixtures have now been scheduled.

Leeds and West Brom are fighting it out to go up as champions while Fulham, Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Preston are currently in the play-off places.

At the other end of the table, Chelsea, Luton and Barnsley are in danger of the drop.

Sky Sports will have plenty of Championship action on their platforms over the coming weeks while fans will also be able to buy a £10 match pass to watch individual matches on iFollow.

Sky Sports will have exclusive rights to the play-offs with the Championship play-off final set to take place on Sunday 2 or Monday 3 August.

'It desperately needs a reset' - Simon Jordan urges Championship clubs to introduce a salary cap.
