‘No danger of Leeds United being relegated next season’ – Marcelo Bielsa’s side will be joy to watch in Premier League, says Tony Cascarino

Leeds United will be in ‘absolutely no danger’ of suffering immediate relegation from the Premier League next season after finally sealing their return.
The Leeds players were finally able to celebrate on the pitch on Sunday after having their long-awaited return to the top flight confirmed and being crowned Championship winners last week.
West Brom's defeat at Huddersfield on Friday night ended Leeds' 16-year wait for promotion, and they were confirmed as champions when Brentford lost to Stoke on Saturday afternoon.
There were passionate celebrations on Sunday when the players were able to enjoy their triumph following their 3-1 victory over Derby County at Pride Park, while fans have been partying at Elland Road.
Leeds are now desperate to discuss a new contract for manager Marcelo Bielsa after the Argentine achieved what a host of manager couldn’t, with his current deal expiring at the end of the season.
It’s widely expected, though, that he will stay on to see his achievement through in the Premier League next season.
And Cascarino is confident this Leeds side are there to stay.
“There is absolutely no danger of Leeds United being relegated next year under Marcelo Bielsa,” the talkSPORT host said in his column for .
“They will have some heavy defeats but they will also have some big wins, because Bielsa will not compromise the way he wants his team to play, and when they get it right it will be effective.
“Watching his recruitment over the next few weeks will be fascinating because he will have a list of players that he thinks will be perfect for his system.
“They may not be big names, or players that other Premier League clubs are tracking.
“I know people at Marseilles who were taken by surprise by the players he wanted to sign when he went there, because they had never heard of some of them.
“But they were all energetic and comfortable taking the ball under pressure — those are the qualities he puts first.”
The former Chelsea striker has already branded Bielsa's Leeds side as one of the best teams EVER to be promoted to the Premier League.
Cascarino compared them to the Wolves team that won the Championship with 99 points and then finished seventh in the Premier League, securing a Europa League spot, in their first season back in the top flight.
And he's excited to see what they bring next season.
“The manager has been so influential in many clubs, Atheltic Bilbao, Marseille and Lille in France and now Leeds United,” Cascarino added.
“He has an incredible style. He will play with the three defenders, three attacking midfielder, and wing-backs. They hunt you down in numbers. The relentless pace of their game is exciting.
“I think they are as good as any team I have seen come up [from the Championship] with a style that is so brave.
“Wolves were terrific a couple of seasons ago [when they were] getting promoted. This Leeds team are in a very similar vein of form. They come for you at every angle, defensively and offensively, Leeds’ style is all about pressure at a very high tempo.”
