Manchester United could battle for Chelsea for goalkeeper Jan Oblak with David de Gea facing fight to save his Old Trafford career

Manchester United are keeping tabs on Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak as a potential replacement for David de Gea.
The Slovenian goalkeeper, 27, is thought to be considering a fresh challenge following six years at the Spanish club without a title.
Chelsea have also been linked with Oblak as an alternative to out-of-form Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The Blues goalkeeper is currently the most expensive shot-stopper of all time following his £72m move to Stamford Bridge in 2018, but has made a number of errors this season.
Oblak's Atletico release clause is currently set at around £109m.
However, according to , the Spanish giants could accept a lower bid due to the financial impact of the coronavirus crisis, and Man United have emerged as contenders for Oblak's signature.
De Gea’s performances have come under scrutiny this season following a string of errors in important games.
He made two mistakes that led to goals in their 3-1 FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea.
There have been calls for Dean Henderson, who has spent the last two seasons on loan with Sheffield United, to replace the Spaniard.
But with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seemingly not convinced Henderson is the answer to his problem, he could now turn his attention to Oblak.
