Emiliano Martinez fires warning to Arsenal and claims he is wanted by TEN clubs across Europe

Emiliano Martinez claims ten European clubs are interested in signing him.

The Arsenal No.2 impressed in the club’s final 11 matches of the 2019/20 season after Bernd Leno injured his knee in June.

Leno is expected to be fit when the new Premier League campaign starts on September 12, which will leave Mikel Arteta with a big decision to make.

Martinez, who helped Arsenal win a 14th FA Cup earlier this month, wants to stay at the Emirates, but only if he is playing regular first-team football.

The 27-year-old told : "I want to stay at Arsenal, but if I play more minutes.

"Because on a personal level, I have an age, I am in a game with confidence that I need to add as many minutes as possible.

"I am in the sights of 10 teams in Europe. But I can't say who those clubs are, because it's nothing concrete.

"I still do not have the clear situation with Arsenal, when I have it when I return I will make the best decision for my career.”

Martinez has had six different loan spells since joining Arsenal from Independiente in 2010.

He spent the 2017/18 campaign with Getafe in LaLiga and would be open to returning to Spain.

The Argentine added: "I really liked LaLiga, it is true that I did not have a good experience at Getafe, because I did not play the games that I went to play.

"But Spain is a great league, I love the country.

“If I go back I will add more minutes than I did in Getafe, and I would do it in the best way.

“If it is not England, I would like to go to Spain.”
