The report adds that Origi is open to a move this summer as looks to secure more regular first-team action in the forthcoming campaign.

The 25-year-old appeared 42 times in all competitions for the Premier League champions last term but failed to become a permanent fixture in the side due to the presence of red-hot trio Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.

Meanwhile, Elland Road chiefs are also preparing a bid for Brewster, who scored 11 goals in 22 appearances for Swansea last season.

Aston Villa, Newcastle, Brighton and Fulham have also been linked with a move for the Liverpool starlet.

The development comes after reports suggesting Leeds are also planning a shock swoop for Bayer Leverkusen star Leon Bailey.

Bailey, who hit five goals and added three assists in 22 matches last season, is said to be valued at £40million by the Bundesliga club.

Jack Wilshere leaving West Ham may be best move for all parties, says Ray Parlour

The youngster, with his father and brother, decided to leave his native Jamaica as a teenager to find a football club in Europe, and after problems caused by signing minor players he eventually ended up at Belgian side Genk. He won the Belgian Young Player of the Year award with the club, getting experience in the Europa League, before commanding a £18m transfer fee from Leverkusen in 2017.

At the time he was attracting interest from the Premier League, with Manchester United among his suitors, but he chose Leverkusen instead, where he was given the no.9 shirt and has since scored 24 goals in 116 matches.
