Gabriel Magalhaes: Arsenal beat Manchester United and Napoli to Lille defender who will sign five-year contract TOMORROW

Arsenal have completed a deal to sign defender Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille, according to reports.
The Gunners were one of a number of clubs interested in the 22-year-old, including Manchester United and Napoli.
The Red Devils were understood to have made an 11th hour bid to try and snatch Gabriel away from Arsenal - but they have been unsuccessful.
Lille president Gerard Lopez joined talkSPORT earlier this week and said the player would be making a decision about his future in ‘the next couple of days’.
Lopez also said the two frontrunners were Arsenal and Napoli.
It looks like the Gunners have won that race and have again raided the Ligue 1 club following their £72million signing of Nicolas Pepe last summer.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano wrote on social media that the deal was done for £27million (€30million) and Gabriel will sign a huge five-year contract.
The official statements are expected to be made in the coming week.
He wrote: “Gabriel Magalhaes to Arsenal, here we go! Total agreement just completed: he will fly on Monday to London to sign his contract until 2025, €30m to Lille (add ons included), official statement next week. The deal is finally done.”
