Abdoulaye Doucoure: Everton confirm third signing in four days as midfielder arrives from Watford

Everton have signed Abdoulaye Doucoure to complete their third transfer of the summer, the Premier League club have confirmed.
Doucoure, the midfielder, joins the Toffees from Watford, leaving Vicarage Road following the Hornets' relegation from the top-flight.
He moves to Goodison Park having played 141 games for Watford, scoring 17 goals, and establishing himself as one of the finest players outside the Premier League's top six.
“I have been waiting a long time to come here and now it has happened so I am very happy,” Doucoure told .
“I am so excited to start.
“I feel at the top of my career at the moment. Mentally, physically, I feel at my best.
“I think Everton is the right place now to have a step up and to keep progressing.
“And with the manager and the team we’ve got, I think I have plenty of time to progress.
“With Mr Ancelotti here it is a good choice for me. I am very excited about the project, we are bringing new players like James and Allan.
“Big players. I want to be part of that project.”
Doucoure follows fellow midfielders Allan and James Rodriguez to Merseyside, with Everton completing their three long-awaited signings over the past four days.
Allan first arrived from Napoli last Saturday with James following from Real Madrid on Monday.
Doucoure now joins the Toffees as Carlo Ancelotti continues a big rebuild ahead of the new Premier League season starting this weekend.
The Toffees begin their campaign with a trip to Tottenham on Sunday, with their first home league fixture against newly-promoted West Brom six days later.
