Leicester brought back down to earth by superb West Ham side a week on from putting Man City to the sword

A week is a long time in football and Leicester's 3-0 defeat at home to West Ham demonstrates that perfectly.
Last Sunday, the Foxes completed a 5-2 demolition job of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City but were humbled by the superb Hammers on their home patch.
Michail Antonio gave the visitors the lead with a superb header across goal after cleverly starting the move with a quick free-kick.
West Ham's lead was doubled thanks to Pablo Fornals' easy finish - the Spaniard expertly controlling Aaron Creswell's long punt up the field before firing past Kasper Schmeichel.
Leicester huffed and puffed in the second half but got next-to-no joy against West Ham's excellently organised defence. The visitors then sealed the win when a lightning Hammers counter-attack ended with Jarrod Bowen slotting the ball easily past the hapless Schmeichel.
Leicester pulled one back late on with Harvey Barnes finishing off a slick move only for it to be ruled out by VAR over a very marginal offside call, which just about summed up their terrible day.
Brendan Rodgers' side may have had their heroics last weekend but West Ham had an impressive result of their own as they thrashed Wolves 4-0 without manager David Moyes, who's still in isolation after testing positive for coronavirus.
But Moyes working from home is heeding great Premier League performances though, with West Ham restricting Leicester to half chances until the very end of the match.
The deadlock was broken quick as a flash as Antonio jumped up after being a fouled by Caglar Soyuncu to play the free-kick out to Cresswell. The left-back then returned the ball to Antonio with a back post cross and the latter expertly headed across goal.
Leicester had plenty of the ball but West Ham were much more of a threat and doubled their advantage in rather innocuous fashion. A long ball left the Foxes defenders static and Fornals' exquisite touch put him through on goal and the Spaniard made no mistake as he beat Schmeichel at the near post.
There was no Leicester onslaught in the second half as West Ham continued to threaten - Fornals had a goalbound shot blocked by Jonny Evans while the brilliant Declan Rice hit the bar after a marauding run pierced through the heart of the Leicester midfield and defence.
But it was 3-0 on 83 minutes as a stretched Leicester were done on the counter. Fornals was provider this time as his through ball found Bowen, who easily put it past Schmeichel.
Leicester's day was summed up by two setbacks late on. Jamie Vardy, Man City's tormentor-in-chief, dinked the ball wide when through on goal while a rare moment of quality from the hosts led to Barnes putting the ball in the net was chalked off for a tight offside call.
