For those of you old enough, Arsenal's Invincibles side will be remembered as a team that could do a little bit of everything.

They were supremely talented, but when required, they could also have a fight with opponents to get the all-important win.

But as Arsene Wenger's formidable side was broken up bit by bit, it's fair to say Arsenal lost that fight required to be a top team.

Mikel Arteta is clearly on a mission to change the culture of the club and before their first Premier League clash of the season, it looked like he'd restored the Gunners' nasty edge.

Dani Ceballos and Eddie Nketiah came to blows before they played Fulham at Craven Cottage, a match Arsenal subsequently won 3-0.

However, their latest outing suggests Arsenal's new found ferocity has gone too far, with Nicolas Pepe being sent off for a clash with Leeds man Ezgjan Alioski.

Pepe was seen headbutting his opponent, leaving referee Anthony Taylor no choice but to show the Ivorian a red card.

The Gunners thus had to play most of the second half with ten men as they held on to claim a goalless draw at Elland Road.

Arteta condemned Pepe after the match, branding his player's actions as 'unacceptable'.

Discipline appears to be a problem at Arsenal and research by reveals that no club has received more Premier League red cards since Arteta took charge in December 2019 than Arsenal.

Arsenal have received FIVE red cards since they appointed Arteta, with six sides next in line with three dismissals.

Below you can see the Premier League table in terms of red cards since Arteta was appointed Arsenal boss.
