Ex-Liverpool man on trial with Anderlecht

Mohamed Sissoko, the former Liverpool midfielder, is on trial at Belgian giants Anderlecht.

The 28-year-old is available on a free transfer having terminated his contract with Paris Saint-Germain by mutual consent earlier this year.

Sissoko was linked with a switch to Reading shortly after his departure from the French capital but could not agree a deal.

And now he will look to earn a deal with the Belgian giants over the next few weeks.
