So it turns out Joe Hart wasn’t the worst goalkeeper of the weekend after all. That award goes to Freiburg’s Oliver Baumann who committed not one, not two, but three catastrophic errors as his side fell to a 3-0 defeat against Hamburg.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper - who has won ten caps for Germany’s U21 side - quite literally handed victory to Hamburg after twice steaming out of his goal and missing the ball and once fumbling a shot straight into the path of former Tottenham Hotspur star Rafael van der Vaart.

If Man City fans are ruing Hart’s calamity against Chelsea, they can count their blessings that Baumann wasn’t in goal instead.
