Sergio Romero’s Manchester United hell set to end in January with David Beckham’s Inter Miami considering transfer

David Beckham could offer Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero a route out of his Old Trafford hell in January.
Argentine goalkeeper Romero is desperate to leave the club having become their third choice between the sticks behind David de Gea and Dean Henderson.
With his contract set to expire in June 2021 - albeit with an option to extend it by a further year - Man United will be keen to cash in on the 33-year-old, meaning the January transfer window is likely to be the Red Devils' last chance to do so.
Romero has been linked with a number of clubs over the years but he could be tempted by an interesting offer to play for MLS side Inter Miami, according to .
Inter Miami are co-owned by former United star Beckham, who has his own experience of leaving the club having joined Real Madrid in 2003.
However, the Athletic's report also says that salary caps in America could cause problems, with Romero understood to be on around £100,000-per-week.
If a move to the USA doesn't materialise, Europe could be an option with the report adding that an unnamed Spanish club want to take the World Cup runner-up on loan for the rest of the season.
Romero hasn't featured for Man United since they beat FC Copenhagen in the Europa League quarter-finals in August.
He was left out of the club's Premier League and Champions League squads this season.
A loan move to Everton was in the pipeline but United didn't sanction the move, leading to Romero's wife slamming the Red Devils for showing him a lack of respect.
