Ray Parlour and Trevor Sinclair clashed when the talkSPORT pundits were tasked with picking their combined Liverpool vs Manchester United teams ahead of this weekend’s showdown.
And there are some tough calls that may get supporters talking...
In-form United travel to Anfield on Sunday in a highly-anticipated clash that could have a huge say in this season’s Premier League title race.
Liverpool are unbeaten in 67 league games at home but ending that stunning undefeated run will see the Red Devils climb six points ahead of the defending champions at the top of the table.
It’s been an eventful campaign for both clubs, with Liverpool going from shoo-ins to reclaim their crown to having their rivals catch up after a dip in form.

United, meanwhile, have seen manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer survive calls for him to be sacked to guide his team back to the Premier League summit.
It's makes for a stark comparison with this time last year, where United went to Anfield and lost to go 30 points behind the eventual champions.
We all love a fantasy XI, and they cause endless squabbles between fans supporters over whose players are better than their rivals’.
And it appears pundits are no different, as Parlour and Sinclair had some very different views when they were asked to pick their combined teams, based on current form and fitness.
Take a look at their choices below!
Parlour: “This is very tricky. It’s got to be Alisson in goal. David de Gea has been playing better, but Alisson has got to be in goal and I think even Man United fans would agree with that.
“In defence I’m going Trent Alexander-Arnold, even though Aaron Wan-Bissaka is in good form. I’ve gone with both Liverpool full-backs with Andy Robertson as well. Trent is a little bit out of form but he’s still a real danger from set-pieces and he puts in some great deliveries in from wide areas - that’s why he gets the nod from me.”
Sinclair: “I disagree on that. I’ve gone with Wan-Bissaka over Trent at right-back. Wan-Bissaka has been very good, he’s obviously really good in one-on-one situations and going forward he’s starting to improve. He’s had a better season than Trent, who has been injured, his form has not been great and has had some indifferent games. For this one-off game, on form, I’d put Wan-Bissaka in there.”
Parlour: “I’m going Harry Maguire at centre-back, he’s played more or less every minute, he’s the captain at the back and he’s getting better, he’s a good defender.
Sinclair: “I agree. It’s difficult to pick who’d be alongside him, but I think Eric Bailly has done exceptionally well since he’s come back into the United side. With what’s been going on with Liverpool and their defensince partnership, I’m going with Bailly.”
Parlour: “I’m actually going to go with Fabinho. I think he’s stepped into that position and I know he’s not an out-and-out centre half but he looks so cool, he reads the game very well, he’s good on the ball and I think he’d really compliment Maguire if they played together.”
Sinclair: “In midfield I’ve gone with Thiago Alcantara. I think he’s top class and when he’s played for Liverpool he’s shown decent form - you can tell he’s an elite player. I’ve put Paul Pogba in there because of his recent performances, we all know he’s got great ability and he’s a world-class player. And then obviously Bruno Fernandes who has been outstanding.
Parlour: “I’ve got Jordan Henderson instead of Pogba. On his day Pogba is a better player and can bring more to the team, but consistency-wise I’d go with Henderson. You know exactly what you’re going to get from Henderson, he has leadership qualities in midfield and he’s a guaranteed seven or eight out of ten every game. I think he deserves to be in there, so I’ll go with Henderson, Thiago and Fernandes.
“Up front I’ve gone Salah, Mane and, even though he’s been playing out of position, Rashford. I think if you give him an opportunity up front with those guys in behind, he will score goals for you. I think he’d be lethal in that team.”
Sinclair: “I think the same. Martial doesn't do enough for me, I think Cavani has been brilliant but is better off the bench as an impact player, Firmino has not been quite as good as he has been over the last couple of years, and Jota is unlucky not to get a shout in there as well.”
