‘Leicester’s title challenge is real’ says Simon Jordan, while Gabby Agbonlahor believes Brendan Rodgers’ side are better than Claudio Ranieri’s title-winning Foxes

"If you finish above Leicester, you'll win the Premier League."
That's Simon Jordan's brief to the sides looking to secure the title this season, with the talkSPORT host believing the Foxes' bid to win a second Premier League crown is very much on.
Leicester moved to the league's summit as they got the better of Chelsea on Tuesday night; goals from Wilfred Ndidi and James Maddison sealing the 2-0 win.
And the talkSPORT host believes Brendan Rodgers' side can be there come the end of the season, suggesting those who don't believe in Leicester are falling into the same trap that many did during the 2015/16 season.
"I think they can [challenge for the title]," Jordan said.
"I think they're better than 95 per cent of the teams in the Premier League right now.
"Brendan Rodgers is an outstanding manager who's learnt his trade at Swansea and Liverpool and Celtic. He's applying all the experience and education that was already a sound base, to a side that nobody gave any credibility to in 2015/16 and there's a distinct possibility that sections of the media and sections of the football world are falling into the same trap again.
"This is a real challenge; Leicester City are one of the sides that you will have to finish above, categorically.
"If you finish above Leicester, you'll win the Premier League. But Manchester City are the ones beginning to hit their straps now."
Leicester shocked the football world when they won the Premier League in 2015/16 having survived relegation the season before and starting the campaign at 5000/1 to lift the crown.
Claudio Ranieri's side will forever go down in sporting folklore but Gabby Agbonlahor believes the current Leicester team is better equipped to win the title than that outfit.
"I think this team is definitely better," said the ex-Aston Villa captain. "I think this team, man-for-man, is a lot better for me.
"Leicester did amazingly to win that season but I think a lot of teams fell off that season. This season a lot of teams are on fire but Leicester are still top.
"You look at players like Danny Simpson, Robert Huth, Shinji Okazaki... but then you look at the players now: Youri Tielemans, Wilfred Ndidi, Timothy Castange.
"They're looking like complete Premier League players.
"For me Manchester City are favourites, but if they get a couple of injuries and drop points in a couple of games, there's no reason why Leicester can't [win the title] in one of the strangest of seasons we've had for a long time."
