‘I’d have West Ham manager David Moyes at Tottenham any day of the week; we’ve gone backwards under Jose Mourinho’, Spurs fan tells talkSPORT

One Tottenham fan has clearly lost his patience with manager Jose Mourinho... telling talkSPORT he'd love to see David Moyes in charge of Spurs!
It's been a tough few months for Jose since the Lilywhites were tipped for a title challenge as recently as December, with a string of poor results seeing the north Londoners drop from top spot, drop out the top four... and drop all the way down to ninth place.
It's true that Tottenham are only six points behind the top four, with a game in hand over Chelsea in fourth, but given their recent run of form it seems unlikely they will close that gap any time soon.
Tottenham's London rivals Chelsea moved into fourth on Monday with a defeat of Newcastle, overtaking West Ham who had earlier claimed fourth place by beating Sheffield United.
The Hammers' wonderful season is in stark contrast to Spurs', as the unfancied east Londoners are flying high while Tottenham with their big-name manager and squad filled with talent are tumbling down the table.
There is real belief that West Ham can secure European qualification this season, and right now they are ahead of Arsenal AND Liverpool in the Premier League table, as well as Spurs.
And Lilywhites fan Kevin joined talkSPORT on Monday night to make it clear he'd 'have David Moyes at Tottenham any day of the week'.
Asked by Sports Bar host Jordan Jarrett-Bryan if top four is out of the question for Spurs this season, Kev was forthright with his reply.
“No chance,” said the Spurs supporter.
“It’s unsettled in the dressing room with Jose Mourinho and, you know what, I’d have David Moyes at Tottenham any day of the week.
Arsenal great Perry Groves was stunned by this claim, and asked whether Kev wants Moyes because he'd restore togetherness to the Spurs squad and also get the best out of the players he’s got?
“He would," replied Kev.
“I love Mauricio [Pochettino] and he did great for five years, but we got to the final of the Champions League and lost. And I think that was it.
“But to bring in Jose… I liked him at the beginning, but we’ve just gone backwards.”
Meanwhile, there was rare praise for West Ham's owners, David Gold and David Sullivan, on talkSPORT as the Hammers moved up to fifth.
One fan said: "The recruitment we have had over the past 12 months has been incredible.
"You look at Coufal, Soucek, Bowen, Lingard. Pound-for-pound, signing for signing, you have got to back the board. I don't really like them but they have made the signings, they have done the job."
