Tuchel confirmed that the Blues will remain without centre-back Thiago Silva.

The Brazilian has not featured for the Blues since he sustained a thigh injury during the 1-0 win at Tottenham on February 4.

"No more injury concerns and no Thiago cannot play on Sunday," the Chelsea manager said.

"He did an individual session today, on the pitch, and it was a big step ahead forward and progress for him so I hope he can join the group next week."

Ben Chilwell could come back in for Marcos Alonso at left-wing back as Tuchel looks to nullify the pace of the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

Jorginho could also be given a rest with N'Golo Kante taking his place, while Kai Havertz could make his first start after returning from injury in place of Mason Mount, who may be given a much-needed rest.

Man United team news

Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Hannibal Mejbri, Phil Jones are out for United, while Solskjaer is hopeful of having Edinson Cavani, Donny Van De Beek and Scott McTominay available.

Daniel James will be assessed after limping out of Thursday's Europa League draw with Real Sociedad, which Juan Mata missed with an unspecified issue that is set to keep him out of the first half of March.
